Love Your Longevity is operated by MacDougall Consulting for Disabilities. This policy explains what information we collect when you use loveyourlongevity.org or the LYL Compliance Map, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
Your name and email address, when you send us a message, sign up for compliance alerts, or buy a tool.
Your billing details, when you make a purchase. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by us.
What you type into the map, such as a state or city you search for.
Your approximate location, only if you choose to use the My Location button and your browser asks your permission first.
Basic technical information that any website receives, such as your IP address, browser type, and which pages you opened.
What we do not collect
We do not collect medical records, diagnoses, or health information about you or your loved one.
Our tools are downloaded and completed by you, on your own. When you fill in a letter, worksheet, or tracker, that document stays with you. We never receive it and we never see what you wrote in it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How we use what we collect
To deliver the tools you bought and give you access to your library.
To send the compliance alerts you asked for, and to reply when you contact us.
To keep the site working, secure, and reasonably fast.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They only handle your information in order to provide their service to us.
Kajabi hosts loveyourlongevity.org and handles our forms, our email, and our checkout.
Kajabi Payments processes purchases.
Netlify hosts the Compliance Map.
Google Maps Platform draws the map. When you search a place or use My Location, that search is sent to Google so the map can respond.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from alerts or emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected]Β or use the form on our Contact page and we will respond.
Deleting your information may mean we can no longer give you access to tools you have purchased, so we will confirm with you before we do it.
You can refuse or revoke the map's location permission in your browser at any time. The map works without it.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase records for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes. We keep alert and contact information until you ask us to remove it.
Security
We use established providers and we limit who can see your information. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
